About Main Street

Main Street Realty International is a first class real estate brokerage and exclusive member of Who's Who in Luxury Real Estate. A dynamic and growing company, Main Street represents buyers and sellers in the luxury and ultra luxury home markets as well as upscale commercial real estate markets across Windermere and Orlando, Florida. Main Street is distinguished by a long tradition of excellence in service, integrity and professionalism. Built upon the highest standards in the industry, Main Street was founded in 1985 by veteran real estate broker, Judy Black, who continues to lead the company today.

Originally a small town boutique in Windermere, Florida, Main Street Realty International has since expanded its reach across Central Florida and, through its international networks, across the world.  In 2007, the company name was changed from Main Street Realtors to Main Street Realty International to signify the modernization and globalization of a veteran company, and a lone palm tree was added to the company logo to represent its roots in Florida.  Also added in 2007 to the J. Black family of companies were Ketch Media and J. Black Title Company.  Ketch Media is a boutique multimedia and advertising company focused on graphic design and web design for builders, developers and even other real estate companies.  Ketch Media is also the developer of a proprietary software program called Realty Grow, a virtual online broker that supports and supervises real estate agents through every step of a transaction.

Since 1985, Main Street Realty International has provided sophisticated broker representation in the purchase and sale of residential and commercial real estate across Central Florida including luxury homes and estates, lakefront and oceanfront properties, golf course villas, condominiums, town homes, apartments, condo hotels, vacant land and commercial buildings.

About Orlando

Orlando is the sixth largest city in Florida with approximately 200,000 people living within its city limits.  Since the opening of Walt Disney World in 1971, Orlando has been best known as a leading tourist destination with approximately 52 million tourists arriving each year to visit Walt Disney World, Sea World, Universal Studios, MGM Studios, Kennedy Space Center and various other attractions in the Central Florida area.  Apart from tourism, Orlando has also established itself as a sophisticated business and industrial center. I n 1956, the aerospace and defense company Lockheed Martin established itself as a mainstay in Orlando, and other leading corporations calling Orlando home include Darden Restaurants, Loews Hotels, Florida Hospital, and Electronic Arts.  Additionally, Orlando is home to the Orlando Magic professional basketball team and a number of leading colleges and graduate schools including Rollins College and the University of Central Florida, the second largest university in the state.

In the 1990s, Orlando became a recognized center for popular music and film production with close ties to some of the biggest names in entertainment.  The Florida Film Festival hosts one of the most respected regional film festivals in the country while the Bob Carr Performing Arts Center attracts national theatrical tours on a regular basis.  The Kerouac House, where Jack Kerouac lived while his famous novel On the Road was being published, now houses aspiring writers creating their own masterpieces.

The best part of Orlando may lie in its natural beauty.  Orlando is rivaled only by the Twin Cities in the number of natural lakes in its metropolitan area, which include the pristine Butler Chain of Lakes in Windermere, the Winter Park Chain of Lakes, the Conway Chain of Lakes and the Clermont Chain of Lakes.  With the abundance of water and a subtropical climate, residents enjoy boating and fishing year round, and many of the top professional water skiers and wakeboarders make Orlando their home on a year round basis. And for ocean lovers, the world famous Cocoa Beach and more laid back New Smyrna Beach are both less than an hour away.

With all of this, it is no wonder that Orlando has become one of the fastest growing cities in the United States.  And there are many other beautiful and historic towns to consider nearby including Windermere, Winter Garden, Ocoee, Gotha, Oakland, Winter Park, Maitland, Altamonte Springs, Apopka, Longwood, Casselberry, Sanford, Oviedo, Winter Springs, Lake Mary, Kissimmee and Celebration.  Some of the leading neighborhoods in the area include Isleworth, Bay Hill, Lake Butler Sound, Keene’s Point, Belmere Reserve, Horizon West, Summerport, Independence, Dr. Phillips, Viscaya, Metrowest, Baldwin Park, College Park, Thornton Park, Lake Eola, Colonial Town, Delaney Park, Audobon Park, Conway, Heathrow, Avalon Park, Waterford Lakes, Lake Nona, Alaqua, Hunters Creek and Reunion.
